Just saw this http://www.theguardian.com/money/2016/apr/02/mobile-banking-fraud-o2-nationwide. Can’t see how this can be done. Also no info on how to protect against it – just FUD or is it a real risk?
It’s real – the crooks persuade the network operator that the old SIM is lost or broken and get a new one. (Or intercept.) I wish the guy had named the carpet firm. Like to hear their response.
